FIRE RESCUE

TFR Cadet Program Now Accepting Applications

For young men and women interested in a profession in the Fire and EMS service, this program is available for ages 13 to 18. Launched in 2001, this development program will introduce your young men and women to the Fire and EMS fields and prepare them to start in an incredible profession.

Cadets work with our staff through EMT, Fire Academy and/or Fire Inspector classes. Cadets become part of the fire rescue family, starting with basic knowledge of the service, the equipment, and the tactics we use every day.

Cadets are the future of the Fire Service! If you are interested or have a child, ages 13 to 18, interested in learning more about the Fire Service, then call Tamarac Fire Rescue to speak with our Program Manager. We begin a new class in late August. Application and interview are part of the process.
